Kamal Kumar Verma, Drawing Teacher of this
Vidyalaya has been awarded RASHTRIYA KALIDAS
PURASKAR on 15 November, 2008 at Ujjain by Prof
Sanjay Ghosh, Vice Chancellor, Vikram Vishwavidyalaya,
Ujjain for his outstanding painting named ‘PREMKOP’
based on ‘Malvikagnimitra’ of Great Poet Kalidas.
He was
felicitated with a PRASHASTI PATRA, a memento and
Rs twenty five thousand (Rs 25,000/-) amongst
about 185 national participants from all over the
country. This is a rare and unique prestigious
award for any artist of the country and an
achievement for the KVS. |
